Lunch will be provided by the Lovettsville Game Protective Association. 

Worms will be provided or you may use your own bait.

Fishing poles and tackle are available if needed but we have a limited supply, please bring your own rod and tackle if possible.

When you arrive, head to registration where each fisherperson will get a number and a starting fishing zone.

There are 4 zones around the pond, all participants will get a chance to fish in all zones.

There will be a marshal (game club staff) at each zone who will measure and record the length of all the fish caught, we go by length not weight.  Your registration number will be used to track all the fish caught.  Remember we have a trophy for the smallest fish so get the small ones logged too.  

Starting at 9:00 am you will start fishing at the initial zone you are assigned.  Every 45 minutes we will blow an air horn that will signal a clockwise move to the next zone.  By noon you will have visited all zones.  Because you will be moving every 45 min please stay flexible, don’t setup a massive camp, and be sure to share space with all participants.

At noon we will have lunch. At the end of lunch, we will award the biggest and smallest fish trophies and give all the participants a chance to visit the prize table. 

If you borrowed gear, please make sure you return it when the fishing is done. 

There will be port-a-potties and hand-washing stations to clean up before you eat.
